I'm Tomek — an engineer in Amsterdam working on modular cognition: small models, composed at inference time.

I came to machine learning through games, through stubbornness, and through a lot of weekends spent reading papers I wasn't supposed to understand yet. I still do that. Most of the good ideas have arrived quietly, on walks, at inconvenient hours.

When I'm not running experiments, I'm shipping broker integrations for a fintech, writing here, or walking along the Amstel trying to remember what I was thinking about.
